Memorial Trees to commemorate loved ones or celebrate special occasions

About Us

As a registered charity, Life for a Life is a not for profit organisation that offers the chance to celebrate or commemorate a loved one by dedicating a tree or installing a bench in their memory. At the same time you will be contributing to the development and maintenance of beautiful woodland areas as well as helping other charitable causes. Visiting these areas, being with nature and watching the forest develop and grow, can alleviate the pain caused whilst grieving for your loved one. Regardless of age, status or religious beliefs, tree dedications are open to everyone at any of our locations in the UK.

As more trees are dedicated to loved ones, we will need more land to continue our work - if you are a landowner or know someone who may want to donate land to us, please get in touch.

Customer Feedback

A beautiful way to pay tribute to your loved ones whilst supporting our wildlife. I cannot thank the team enough. Today we planted our memorial tree at Indians head for my beloved husband Stuart. Philip, one of the staff was incredibly kind, helpful and informative and Norman the founder of the charity personally led our planting. He was so respectful and heartfelt, clearly very proud of this amazing charity. I believe he tries to do all of the plantings in the area. We couldn't of asked for it to be more perfect. Thank you so much xxx

A peaceful and thoughtful ceremony for my mum Julie. The weather was perfect and the views from the lovely Rowan Tree across the reservoir are lovely. Thank you.

I would like to thank life for a life memorial forest for the stunning tribute planted in memory of my wonderful mum today. Such a lovely idea caring for these future forests in memory of people we loved. Thanks

Today we laid Dad's ashes to rest in the beautiful Countess of Chester Country Park. An English oak tree will forever be there in his memory. The Life for a Life people, especially Norman who led the planting, were just lovely and made it very special for my elderly Mum. Thank you so much...I feel so content that we did this for Dad. Just beautiful...x
