This beautiful linear memorial woodland site runs alongside Cowm Reservoir close to the small hamlet of Whitworth in Rochdale, on land made available to the charity by United Utilities. The area is popular with walkers who can enjoy a circular route around the reservoir that nestles in a small valley just above our White Water Meadow plantation. The site benefits from nearby car parking close to the well used sailing club.

A number of memorial benches that have been donated by families so that walkers can take a moment to sit surrounded by the splendour of the majestic rolling hills.

Since the site opened in 2002 if has so far helped to raise over £25,000 that has been gifted directly to charities in Rochdale, include Springhill Hospice and The Silver Hearts foundation, which is part of Pennine Acute Hospitals Trust; as well as many others.
