Crosthwaite The Lake District National Park

Located in the Lake District National Park. 

We’re delighted to announce that a new Life for a Life memorial forest will soon be opening in the beautiful village of Crosthwaite, near to Kendal, within the Lake District National Park.

Situated beside the historic St Mary’s Church and just moments from the much-loved Punch Bowl Inn, this peaceful site offers stunning views across the surrounding landscape, making it a truly special place for remembrance and connection with nature.

A small car parking area will be available just off Mill Lane, providing easy access for visitors.

Whether you're interested in dedicating a memorial tree, and wish to stay informed, you can now register your interest and be among the first to hear more as plans progress.

We look forward to welcoming you to Crosthwaite soon.

Life for a Life planting areas are natural environments where we encourage wildlife and plant life to flourish, as such additional items should not be added to the tree or the space around it, especially as they can cause damage to the tree.

Please be aware that any prohibited items left on, or around memorial trees will be removed.
