Memorial Plaques

Standard Plaque

Our classic green plaque is included at no extra cost with any memorial tree, bench, or picnic table. Made from weatherproof and highly durable materials, it features white engraved lettering on a green background. Each plaque includes a 30-word personal inscription of your choice and comes with a 5-year guarantee.

Should you wish to update your plaque in future, such as to mark the scattering of ashes, a minimum donation of £35 is required.

Please note: The standard green plaque is not available at Indian’s Head Memorial Forest. At this site, a Gold Effect Plaque is included at no additional cost when planting a memorial tree.

Plaque Upgrades

You may choose to upgrade your plaque at any time to one of our more distinctive options:

• Gold Effect Plaque - Minimum donation of £85
• Stainless Steel Plaque - Minimum donation of £95

Both upgraded plaques are mounted on a robust, weather-resistant polymer plinth for maximum durability. Each comes with a 7-year guarantee and allows for a 30-word inscription of your choosing.

Please note: The rectangle plaques are not available at Tandle Hill, St Joseph’s Hospice, or the Clatworthy Reservoir Memorial Forest.

Circular Plaques (Select Locations Only)

At Tandle Hill, St Joseph’s Hospice, and the new memorial forest at Clatworthy Reservoir, only circular plaques are used. These are mounted directly onto the tree’s support stake and are available in the same finishes:

• Green (included with the memorial tree)
• Gold Effect - £85 minimum donation
• Stainless Steel - £95 minimum donation

Memorial Plaques as the Trees Mature

As the trees grow and mature, the wooden plaque posts may begin to deteriorate, and the trunks will gradually expand. In these cases, we will automatically suggest replacing your memorial plaque with a larger round plaque that can accommodate up to 30 words.

These mature plaques are attached around the tree trunk using a specially designed spring, which expands as the tree grows, ensuring the plaque remains in place without damaging the tree.
